Instructions
Depending on your web browser, you may be able to download the sheets
directly by clicking on these links. Some web browsers are set up to
show the sheets on your screen when you click them. If that happens,
there should be a Print button in the upper left of your window.
If you're having real trouble getting them, though,
send
us an e-mail
letting us know which sheets you'd like, and we'll be glad to send you
a copy that way.
Tables of Contents
Really long documents need
tables of contents so readers can find things easily. Unfortunately, if
the document is going to be edited and changed many times, making sure
the table is completely up-to-date and correct can be a nightmare.
Word's automated table of contents feature is not only faster than
making one by hand, it's a lot more resistant to errors when the rest
of the document changes.

Tables of Contents Tip Sheet.
Want More?
We add new tip sheets periodically, covering topics across Excel, Word,
Access, and PowerPoint. If you'd like to get an e-mail letting you know
that there's more for you to come and get,
send
us an e-mail asking us
to put you on the reminder list. Yes, there will be a little bit of
advertising in the e-mail we send you too, but you don't have to read
that part, right?
